Immersive chamber music coaching, collaborative workshops, and festival performances for adult musicians and young string players.
ADULT CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOP
We're excited to welcome adult musicians to Ixia's Winter Chamber Music Workshop! Focused on classical chamber music, the workshop is open to musicians ages 18 and older of all instruments, from early intermediate through advanced levels. Participants should have a solid foundation on their instrument and be comfortable reading musical notation, but previous chamber music experience is not required. Both individual applicants and preformed ensembles are welcome.
Throughout the workshop, participants will take part in ensemble rehearsals, personalized coaching sessions, an interactive masterclass, and a special session exploring additional aspects of musicianship. The experience culminates in a performance featuring the participating ensembles.
